Learning to can has been an adventure, fun and honestly not frustrating as I thought. I go in not expecting perfection so there is technically no pass or fail. Strawberry jam only turned into syrup but everyone liked it. Mulberry jelly I have yet to figure out. Some jellied some didn't but it is all good jelly or syrup it is all useable.
Hubby still isn't keep on all this but you know far as I am concerned he will just have to get used to it. Kids are taking to it somewhat, James seems to have really taken to the growing side of it. Becca of course just says EWWW to all of it.
One of the stores has squash on sale this week, Mike doesn't know it yet but when he goes into Galveston in the morning he will be picking up about 20 pounds which will go into the freezer till I get a pressure cooker...
